The uMhkumbane Museum is the first new City Museum in Durban in approximately 100 years, to preserve and innovate the rich cultural and political history of Cato Manor and Surrounding Areas.It provides the opportunity for Heritage and Contemporary Culture to converge,serving as a catalyst for social,economic and ecological regeneration.As part of a broader urban strategy, the site seeks to activate and network various Cultural Nodes within the Communities
